The quarterly Sage ACCPAC Users Club was held last August 20, Thursday, in the Centennial Room at Club Filipino. It was a full-house event, attended by ACCPAC users from different parts of the metro.

The gathering started with a prayer from May Casaclang (Business Development Associate-Sage ACCPAC), and opening remarks from Cristina Receda (VP for Sales). Topics that followed were: GL Consolidations by Harlene Ronquillo (Technical supervisor-Sage ACCPAC), General Ledger Security, Purchase Security, Audit Logger and Sales by Karren Cayaban (Technical Consultant-Sage ACCPAC), Microsoft SQL 2008 product overview by Pauline Villacastin (Technology Evangelist-Microsoft), and Cash works by Jessanie Luna (Business Applications Associate). Last discussed was the new purchase policy of Sage ACCPAC by Patrick Siat (Business Development Associate-After sales support and services).

Users were able to mingle and learn from each other, as the floor was opened to questions and comments during the open forum. Of course, delicious snacks were served with free flowing coffee and tea during the course of the gathering.

The early bird prizes were given to Annie Saliendras of Azbil Philippines Corporation, and to Chrispinita Nicolas and Fermilyn Recio, both from Manpower Outsourcing Services. A raffle prize was also sponsored by Microsoft, to the delight of the attendees. Congratulations to Ms. Remedios Ramos of Jumbo Kingdom for winning the 8 GB Zune Media Player!
