The first ever Free ERP Showcase of Sagesoft Solutions, Inc., entitled “Choosing the Right Accounting System for your Business”, was held last September 18.

It was another full-house event for SSI, as the rooms at the Yuchengco Institute for Advanced Studies were filled with more than 100 participants.

The President of SSI and founder of the Touch Group of Companies, Mr. Anson Uy, started the seminar with opening remarks on why Enterprise Resource Planning is important for companies nowadays. He was followed by a case study by Mr. Derrick Lo on “Achieving cost and time savings through the use of ERP”.

After lunch, the breakout sessions were held for both QuickBooks ("Managing and controlling your service-oriented business using Quickbooks Enterprise and ACOWIN") and Sage ACCPAC ("Control your manufacturing process through SAGE ACCPAC ERP"). The tracks were handled by Ms. Venus Iglip and Ms. Harlene Ronquillo respectively.
